Here are the drawings for the Rockefeller Center Main Block portion. The surrounding buildings will come later. This sucker comes in at 43″ tall even after compression. It’s about 13 stories short of the 70. Due to the compressed size of the site plan for this project (about 50%) I really had to spend a lot of time selectively compressing it so it looked relatively correct while maintaining all the main elements.

Some shots of the laser cutting work for the block work on the AT&T build. Very pleased with the results after fiddling with the Power settings a little. I’m just about to the point of assembly of all the subassemblies to the main wall panels.

Here are some detail shots of the At&T drawings. This one took a little longer than the other once since I had to lay out all the cut stone facade work so everything coarsed out properly. But overall the work was well worth it in the end. This week I’ll begin creating the parts in the computer from the master design file.

Getting there on this one. Really just have to do the curved part at the base which is made of a separate piece each floor to create the curve. Curving an actual sheet was a little too difficult.

Got the parts in from fabrication for the 9 West skyscraper project! In the image you may recognize the iconic “X” bracing from the real building.

I completed the design for the next skyscraper which will be a replica of the Solow building I.E. “9 West” designed by SOM. The building is currently in parts development for construction.
